Unique and Contemporary Valentine's Card Sets for 

3 Stages of Love

PROCESS 

With the theme of love being on my mind, I chose to create 3 sets of Valentine's Day cards which would reflect the different stages and outcomes of love and develop a relationship between love and phycological craziness. While Valentine's Day cards surely are a straight representation of love, I decided to throw in another twist and make the cards relatable to the current time period to appeal more to a younger crowd that might not want to say "I love you" in any traditional way. After the cards were developed, they were packaged into individual boxes and wrapped into packaging to be displayed as if they were sold in stores.

OUTCOME 

Playful, appealing, and realistic physical forms of greeting cards which appealed to a "young adult" crowd and fully displayed all of their intentions.  A total of 33 Cards, 10+ 1 bonus colored paper card in each set.  The back of the packaging displayed what cards could be found in the packages, and provide the customers with an idea of the purpose of that set.

These unique valentines are perfect for any stage of love. Whether you and your significant other are in the "crush" stage, the "love" stage, or even the "I'm a little too obsessed with you that it is dangerous" stage, our V-Day cards have the perfect saying for you.

"LIKE IT"

The "Like It" set is meant to be given to a friend, a crush, or even a lover to show a person just how special they are to you. With phrases connecting to the modern world and appealing to familiar imagery in a young adult's society, these cards are bound to make your loved one smile.

The Light Pink color is significant in showing that the spark has just begun and will eventually fully develop into the rich color that fate is meant to reach.  With so many connections to technology and popular items, the cards stand fully on their own, and appeal to almost anyone within that "young adult" age group. 

"LOVE IT"

The "Love It" set is meant to be given to a lover to show a person just how special they are to you in terms of the relationship itself bringing you joy. With phrases, people, and characters connecting to the modern world and appealing to familiar imagery in a young adult's society, these cards are bound to make your loved one smile.

The Dark Pink color is significant in showing that the spark has fully developed into the rich color of pink, symbolizing that your love is strong, and at it's highest point. With so many connections to technology and popular items, the cards stand fully on their own, and appeal to almost anyone within that "young adult" age group.

"RUN FROM IT"

The "Run From It" set is meant to be given to a lover to show that person that your relationship has now gone downhill.  Without saying any sort of "break-up" statement, the cards provide a much more negative appeal to show that your loving relationship is now dangerous and should be taken with caution now. With phrases, people, and characters connecting to the modern world and appealing to familiar imagery in a young adult's society, these cards are bound to dig deep and make your loved one wonder where your relationship currently is standing.  Whether they are used as an Anti-Valentine's joke card, or for their specific purpose of leaving someone, these cards will surely match your dark mood.
